TAYLOR AND SEAN | A DATAW ISLAND CLUB WEDDING

There is a reason some places are just called hidden games, and Dataw Island is one of those places. Tucked away in St. Helena just a few hours south of Charleston, the picturesque setting screams out Low Country with sweeping views of the marshes and spanish moss trees. I have to admit that pulling into the parking lot of the Dataw Island Club parking lot it was the setting that was the first thing to draw me into this wedding day, but that quickly faded away to become the people that were the real stars of this day. And that all started with Taylor and Sean.

Walking into Taylor’s getting room the joy of the day was already palpable. The music was playing, the ladies were laughing and there was just this energy that it was going to be great day. Overlooking the balcony of the getting room we could also see Sean and the boys wandering the greens of the golf course, beers in hand, looking like they didn’t have a care in the world.

When it came time for Taylor and Sean’s first look both the bride and groom were in tears. It doesn’t always happen that both parties get so emotional, but in this case it truly was one of those touching first looks that makes you want to convince everyone to consider doing one.
As Taylor walked from the club to where Sean waited at the end of the aisle it wasn’t just family and friends watching with bated breath. A crowd of on lookers had gathered at the club pool about 100 yards away turning their chairs around to face the wedding and take it all in And who could blame them? Taylor was the kind of stunning that just turned heads. She truly was beyond breathtaking.
Taylor and Sean, I was so happy to be a part of your day and loved every single second of it. The love the two of you share is so evident and the laid back and easy breezy vibe of your wedding made it just a joy to be a part of. I am so happy for the two of you as you begin your life together as Mr. and Mrs. Riley!
