TIFFANY AND ZACH | AN OLD TOWN ALEXANDRIA ENGAGEMENT

t-z-engagment-65Have you ever met someone whose smile is just one of those ones you know you’ve seen before? For me, Tiffany is one of those people. As much as it pains me to say because it means we are getting old, Zach, Tiffany and I graduated college from Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!) 10 years ago. Back thenZach is someone I knew and hung out with duringour glory days. Fast forward to whenZach started bringing his new girlfriend Tiffany around our friends, and I instantly recognized her. There was this overwhelming sense that I had seen her smile before and that’s when I realized I had definitely had classes with her on campus where we were both Comm majors. There are probably hundreds of people I took classes with and would never recognize today, but Tiffany is just one of those people who exudes the kind of warm personality that you somehow don’t forget. Pair that with the fact that she can definitely hold her own with what is definitely a crazy, outgoing, tight-knit, and at times admittedly overwhelming friend group, and that makes her the perfect fit for Zach.

Tiffany and Zach fit so well together that they’ve even created hands down the CUTEST hashtag together. You know that little spot under your arm when you’re sitting on the couch or laying in bed? That spot that the person you love fits into like it was made for them and no one else? That spot that the person you love fits into like it was made for them and no one else? That spot that at the end of a long day you just want to nuzzle yourself into? Tiffany and Zach have named it the nook, and all of their photos on instagram are under #lifewithnook. They literally have their love story in photos documented. Like I said before, the cutest.

So being that they have all of these photos, how’s a guy to propose? Zach surprised Tiffany one night by printing them all out and creating a huge display that spelled out, “Will You Marry Me?” in their bedroom. As in takes up the entire back wall of the room huge. The best part about it? When I got to see it in person before their engagement session Tiffany told me not to mind the missing photos from certain words, as she’d taken her favorites off the wall and has had them framed. The photographer’s heart in me just skipped a beat because photos are meant to be printed, not just live on our iPhones and Clouds. So here are a few more that Tiffany and Zach can add to their ever growing collection.
