Moments before beginning Nicole and Colby’s engagement session the skies above Charleston opened up sending Nicole and I texting worried messages back and forth. She and Colby had driven in from Columbia and rescheduling was not an option. I ran to my car to grab some of the clear umbrellas I have in my trunk at all times, but by the time I returned the rain had stopped leaving a gorgeous Charleston evening in its wake. And the only thing more beautiful than the night was Nicole in her gorgeous white dress.
While we walked around they told me about their time growing up in Louisiana, their proposal at Nicole’s graduation where Colby surprised her and their plans for their wedding in their home state of Louisiana next year. They were so easy to talk to and even more so they were easy to photograph. Because seeing how in love these two were made my job ridiculously easy.
Nicole and Colby, I enjoyed my time with the two of you SO much! You two are absolutely beautiful, but even more than that you are both so kind. I absolutely cannot wait to see what a beautiful wedding the two of you have next year!
