MORGAN AND RYAN | A DOWNTOWN CHARLESTON ENGAGEMENT

Morgan and Ryan were a couple I had been in touch with for months after they contacted me about possibly shooting their 2021 wedding. However, due to travel restrictions, they weren’t able to finalize wedding details up here in Charleston until just recently. So on a world wind weekend trip here with Morgan’s parents, the two finalized their date, venue, other wedding appointments AND had their engagement photos taken. Talk about taking care of things.

Morgan and Ryan could not have been sweeter, and from the second Ryan told me within five minutes of meeting me that he was ready for anything I threw at him, I knew it was going to be one fantastic session. And he delivered on what he promised, pulling Morgan in for the cutest impromptu moments. Some of my faves are the piggyback shots because it perfectly sums up their playful nature in their relationship.

Morgan and Ryan, I can’t wait for your aquarium wedding next March. It’s going to be so much fun to see Ryan in his element – Marine biology student alert – and to see how beautiful you are going to be Morgan. Thank you for trusting me with your day, and I am counting down!

Kelly and Steven are part of the 2021 #rideodyecouple family that waited longer than most to finally make it to their Charleston wedding. Having to postpone their wedding date not once, but twice due to CoVid wasn’t an easy decision, but it made their day at Cannon Green even sweeter when it finally arrived. When I walked into Kelly’s getting ready Airbnb, […]

As a Charleston wedding photographer,  I have to admit that I see a lot of really beautiful big gatherings, but lately there’s been a very special place in my heart for intimate elopements and gatherings.  And that’s exactly what Hannah and Matthew’s day was. A small gathering of just their nearest and dearest on the […]
