Hands down, Lauren and Jeff’s engagement session was the most I have ever laughed while photographing a #kdyecouple ever. EVER. That should tell you a lot about the kind of people Lauren and Jeff are. They’re funny. And warm. And playful. And did I mention funny? Seriously, Jeff had me cracking up from the second we started and also let it be known that he was interested in me sending him the bloopers of their session when I was done editing their photos. And then he proceeded to give me material to make it possible to have bloopers. And I was here for it. Add in Lauren, who as you’ll see is just drop dead gorgeous, and you have the makings of one awesome session.

We started their photos at Rainbow Row, and walked around the streets and alleyways talking and laughing the whole time. Couples can sometimes be nervous to get their photos taken, but you would never know it with these two if they were. There is just an easygoing comfort between the two of them. I think when you take a look at their photos that just shines through. From there we made our way over the battery, and one of the coolest parts of the night was when one of the exact planes Jeff flies as a pilot flew directly overhead. I love learning about the brides and grooms I shoot, and this was such a fun way to learn a little bit more about Jeff. 

When you have that much fun at an engagement session, it’s bound to get you excited for the actual wedding. And in the case of Lauren and Jeff their wedding will be taking place at least partly at her family’s restaurant in Hilton Head Island, which I absolutely cannot wait for. Humor, family, good food and drinks, and a gorgeous bride and groom? Count me in!!! 

Lauren and Jeff, I am counting down the days to your wedding this spring. To say that it’s going to be fantastic is an understatement!! Until then, I’ll just keep on loving just how beautiful the two of you are together in your engagement photos!!
