The sound of bagpipes filled the air, white roses cascaded up a giant oak tree, and the Ashley river off to the left worked together to create a low country backdrop that was straight out of a movie. But when Jennifer stepped out in here stunning gown with cascading train and made here way down the aisle toward Logan at Magnolia Plantation there was nothing more beautiful in that moment than her.
I had the pleasure of joining Jennifer, Logan and their closest family and friends at Magnolia for a spectacular event planned by Katie Williams events. It truly was beautiful from start to finish, but my favorite part of the day had already happened in the earlier in the day as the ladies got ready at The Charleston Place hotel in downtown Charleston. It was there that Jennifer’s friends shared letters they had written her for her wedding day. As she read them surrounded by the ladies who had written them for her, a lot of tears were shed. And then when she got to the letter Logyn had written her, Jennifer couldn’t read the entire thing aloud. Her emotions were too raw and she couldn’t make it through it. However, I thought that was perfect. Because those were words that would just be shared between the two of them.
Another one of my favorite things from the day was Jennifer’s stunning dress. I shot her bridal portraits a few weeks back at Magnolia and sitting on those images hasn’t been the easiest because of just how incredibly stunning it is. The full train on the bottom as nothing short of spectacular. And another bonus detail I thought was just the cutest was naming their signature drink after their dog Freya!
Jennifer and Logan, your day was absolutely beautiful. I wish you two nothing but the best for your future together as Mr. and Mrs. Cannon. Cheers to many years of health and happiness for the two of you as you begin your new life together as husband and wife!
