Heather and Anthony visited Charleston to visit their wedding venue, The Cedar Room, and to have engagement photos taken around the historic district of downtown. We met on a Friday evening that was calling for rain, but luckily we were able to dodge any rain until the very end of their session. Looking absolutely fantastic, these two really just shined in front of the camera.

One of the most special moments was when we were standing on one  of the streets and the three of us looked up to see a Rainbow shining directly above us. Heather explained that they’d just had to put down their beloved dog, Cheech, that week, and how hard it  had been on the two of them. Taking this rainbow as a sign from their beloved dog, we obviously had to snap a photo underneath it.

When we had finished up and I was about to head home, Heather and Anthony invited me to get a drink  with the two of them with Heather’s parents who were also in town. To say I had a great time with them would be an understatement. We laughed, told stories, and shared our excitement for this season of life for Heather and Anthony.

Heather and Anthony, I’m so thankful to the two of you for allowing me to capture such a special time in your lives for you. I know your day next year is going to be just fabulous and I can’t wait to see just what a beautiful bride and groom the two of you will make. Cheers to 11/5/21!
