This year for our family photos we decided to take the ultimate risk… we brought our kids to the beach. Now honestly, when picturing this session I knew it could go one of two ways. Hudson and Beckham chaotically running around the beach, jumping in the water before we got any photos done, and basically having it be over before it even began. OR they could end up being the images of my dreams with cotton candy skies and pure joy. And honestly, I’m pretty shocked we got the latter!
BUT that is what happens when you hire an amazing photographer who provides you not only with images, but with a great experience. Clair Shorter is the person I trust to take my own family images year after year. And this session is why. She kept my kids entertained, engaged and having fun the entire time. And in the end that resulted in the images of my dreams.
Honestly, it took me everything I had not to replace my entire gallery wall at home with these images. They combine everything I love about my kids and living in Charleston. I cannot thank Clair enough for year after year giving me photos of my boys that make cry. She truly is the best of the best.
And while 2020 has been a crazy and difficult year, it’s these three that have kept me sane. I am forever grateful God has trusted me to hang on to the love of Tyler, Hudson, and Beckham. And from the Dye family to yours.. in the famous words of one Justin Timberlake and the rest of his *NSYNC pals… Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays.
