DANIELLE AND MARK | A SUNSET CHARLESTON ENGAGEMENT SESSION

Charleston Engagement Session

Whenever couples plan their engagement sessions I always encourage them to think about whether there’s a spot that’s special to the two of them that would make for a beautiful backdrop to take their engagement photos at. In the case of Danielle and Mark, they suggested a spot that was just that. I met these two at the property of longtime family friends on James Island who are the best friends of Danielle’s parents. Their house was set back against the water with a private dock and large oak trees dripping with Spanish moss. Out front was a little hidden oasis of a garden that we also walked around, and this setting could NOT have been more beautiful. We ended at a Palm Tree Farm where Mark works and the two have some fun photos in the past of them together which were super fun to update with these new photos!

Not only was the location stunning, but this engagement session was a long time coming. We had to push back Danielle and Mark’s original date because it was scheduled for right around the time the stay at home order for CoVID 19 was put into effect. So I’ve been looking forward to getting these two in front of the camera for quite some time and it did NOT disappoint!
Danielle and Mark, thank you for allowing me to be a part of this very special season in your lives. The two of you are so incredibly kind and I absolutely cannot wait for your day next April! I’ll be counting down the days with the two of you!
