CHARLESTON BACHELORETTE PARTY CHAMPAGNE PICNIC | GALENTINE’S DAY INSPO FROM KAY AND CO WEEKENDS

Who said Valentine’s Day is just for the lovers out there? As far as I’m concerned, this Galentine’s Day worthy champagne celebration looks like just as much fun!! Planned and coordinated by the amazing Randi of Kay and Co Weekends and CHS Bubbly Bar, this adorable picnic at Hampton Park in Downtown Charleston is just a taste of what the full service Bachelorette Planning and Champagne Bar sister companies are all about. Seriously, if you’re planning a bachelorette party or any type of celebration that calls for some bubbly (and what type of celebration doesn’t?!), Randi should be your first and only call!

In addition to a few bottles of champagne, Makin’ Whoopie provided the most delicious red velvet whoopie pies I have ever tasted. Bullfish Cookie Company baked some adorable heart shaped cookies that are perfect for Valentine’s day, or really any day as far as I’m concerned. My favorite downtown bakery Sugar Bakeshop rounded out the sweets with various cupcakes.  And because there’s nothing better than mixing a little sweet and savory, Thurston Southern whipped up some TO DIE FOR pimento cheese and ham biscuits. I know who I am calling the next time I need anything catered.  All in all there were so many good treats to snack on at this picnic, and I don’t even want to tell you how many I consumed after it was over in the car ride home. Being 25 weeks pregnant is my excuse and I’m sticking to it!

For some festive touches a little kinder on the waistline Randi decorated the already beautiful grounds of Hampton Park with the cutest garlands from The Tiny Tassel and Balloons from my favorite local shop Cannonborough Collective. Seriously, if you have never been, you will fall in love with Cannonborough and all the local brands they curate for their downtown balloon and gift shop.

Randi, Cayleigh, Heather, and Margo, I had so much hanging with you ladies as you popped some bottles, laughed together, and snacked on some delicious treats. My kind of Galentine’s Day indeed!
