There really isn’t anything like that first baby bliss is there? Sure newborns come along with sleepless nights and times when you can’t quite seem to figure out why they’re crying, but they also happen to come along with just about the sweetest snuggles you can imagine. So when Liz contacted me about doing photos with her husband, Pete, and three month old Finn, I knew we had to do it. Because little Finn is quickly exiting that newborn stage. And if there’s anything that can freeze it for just a moment in time, it’s photos.

I met this sweet family of three in their beautiful neighborhood that is filled with canals, parks, bridges and pretty much all the pretty you can imagine. But I’m also a firm believer in the fact that you can take photos just about anywhere because the pretty backgrounds are just an added bonus. It’s the love between the people in the photos that is what truly matters. And these three? Well it’s obvious there’s a whole lot of love.

Liz, thank you so much for allowing me to freeze this little moment in time for you. Finn is just the sweetest, and I hope these image of him when he’s this little will help you remember this sweet sweet time in your lives for years to come.
