ANNA AND JEFF | A COLORFUL FOLLY BEACH WEDDING AT THE REGATTA INN

The music was playing and Jeff waited patiently at the end of the aisle. A smile spread across his face as he saw her approach. With her flowers she was looking her best. And as she approached the crowd began to laugh as she started more of a run toward the groom than a walk. And that was how Hazel, Anna and Jeff’s dog/bridesmaid made her way to her dad. And the two of them waited together for Anna.

Having Hazel a part of the ceremony was just one of the things that made Anna and Jeff’s day so personal and their own. It was filled with joyful moments which even the decor aided in by using bright colored florals to add a pop of color for the day. The two were married at The Regatta Inn, a gorgeous beach Inn of about ten rooms tucked away from the main drag of Folly Beach offering gorgeous views of the water with sailboats floating in the background. Paired with the perfect spring day, the views and the entire setting in general were just perfect, planned with care and though by Elevents and Co.

About halfway through their portraits Anna and Jeff turned to me and asked me if I wanted to head to the beach. I don’t know why I hadn’t thought of it before as their wedding was literally taking place in Folly BEACH, but it hadn’t crossed my  mind that the beach was close enough to go do portraits on. So we hopped on a golf cart and made our way there. And it was during this short ride where I saw Anna and Jeff at their most relaxed and joyous version of themselves that just confirmed what I already knew. That these two were perfect for each other. The night continued with the best BBQ in town, Lewis BBQ doing the catering, and dancing under the stars, during which even the owner of the Inn took a spin around the dance floor.

Anna and Jeff, being a part of your day was so special to me, and I want to thank you SO much for trusting me to capture all the lightening in a bottle for you. I hope these images are the ones you’ll back on 50 years from now and turn to each other and say, ” Remember when?” Cheers to you, Mr. and Mrs. Crudup! A lifetime of health, happiness and love is what I wish for you!
