THE HOGAN FAMILY | A PAWLEYS ISLAND SUMMER SUNSET SESSION

If you asked me if I could only choose ONE thing about being a photographer that means the most to me, it would nearly be impossible to choose, but I think it would have to come down to being invited into your family’s lives. Whether it’s a family that is just beginning, or one that is growing again, it doesn’t make a difference. It’s just so dang special.

And that’s exactly what happened with the Hogan family. I first took their photos two years ago in Pawleys Island, when it was just Catherine, Jon, and little Ward. Two years later they were back at their favorite vacation spot, but this time with baby Shep in tow. And they called me again to come capture these sweet summertime memories. I gladly accepted and met them at their Pawley’s Island rental just steps away from the beach. Catherine’s parents also joined us, and we had a great time running around in the sand right before a summer shower hit. And can I just say, this family never ceases to be a contender for the best dressed clients of the year. They bring it EVERY TIME.
Catherine, thank you for once again trusting me with capturing your memories with your sweet little boys. As a mother myself I know this time when they are little is all but too fleeting. I am honored to help you freeze it if just for a moment. Your boys are just the sweetest, and so are you and Jon. Until next summer, please enjoy!
