RACHEL AND BRIAN | A DOWNTOWN CHARLESTON ENGAGEMENT SESSION

Rachel and Brian’s engagement session was the very last engagement session I did before Covid 19 would contain us all to our homes for the forseeable future, and if someone asked me if there is anything I would do differently knowing what was coming the answer would be No. Because with Rachel and Brian we walked around the gorgeous city of Charleston, they had a cocktail at Felix, we made sure their CUTE dog Bercky was involved, and we laughed SO much. And that’s exactly how I want all my engagement sessions to be. Fun, stress free, and life giving. These two were in town to see two of their friends get married that weekend and I hope the rest of their weekend was exactly the same.

Rachel and Brian, I can’t wait for your big day in September. If we laugh half as much as we did on this evening back in March, it will for sure be one of my funnest weddings to date. Thank you for giving me something to hold on to in this strange season we are all in with the fun memories of this night!

Kelly and Steven are part of the 2021 #rideodyecouple family that waited longer than most to finally make it to their Charleston wedding. Having to postpone their wedding date not once, but twice due to CoVid wasn’t an easy decision, but it made their day at Cannon Green even sweeter when it finally arrived. When I walked into Kelly’s getting ready Airbnb, […]

As a Charleston wedding photographer,  I have to admit that I see a lot of really beautiful big gatherings, but lately there’s been a very special place in my heart for intimate elopements and gatherings.  And that’s exactly what Hannah and Matthew’s day was. A small gathering of just their nearest and dearest on the […]
