Chandler and Jordan, where do I even begin with you two?? There is something so incredibly special about the two of you. Not only for who the two of you are as individuals, but more so of who you are together. Chandler, are down to earth and kind and I have a feeling that you don’t even realize how insanely gorgeous you are. And you Jordan, you have a smile that literally lights up your entire face, and even more so when you’re looking at Chandler. Put the two of you together, and you are unstoppable.
From the moment your wedding was postponed Chandler and we talked about your new plans for the River House at Lowndes Grove in Charleston his summer, I just had the feeling that things (at least with your wedding because 2020 is a different story in an of itself), were working out just the way they were supposed to. And when your wedding day did finally come along, it was one of the most special I have ever gotten a chance to not only photograph, but just be at in general. And it’s not even because of the fact that it was a brunch wedding. Because honestly, who doesn’t love brunch? It was because of the palpable love between the two of you and all of your loved ones.
The moment that sealed the deal for me though was your first look. I know the two of you were torn about whether to do one or not, but it honestly was so incredibly touching. To see the two of you so overcome with emotion is something I’ll never forget. I can honestly say I am honored to have been a witness to not only that moment, but each and every part of your day.
So Chandler and Jordan, even though I didn’t know how to begin, I know exactly how to end this. And that is by saying, it is obvious to me that even having only been around the two of you in person for less than 24 hours, that you two were put on this earth to be together. I mean it when I say that your laughs are infectious, your smiles around each other light up a room, and that there is no doubt in my mind that the two of you have found in each other the person that will forever be who they are meant to spend each and every day with. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. McHugh, and thank you for allowing me to be a part of something so insanely special.
And as always, a HUGE THANK YOU to the amazing vendors who made this day so incredibly beautiful. But even more so for allowing my first wedding back after nearly five months off of shooting weddings to be such a spectacular one!
