Their wedding day took place at The Mills House hotel in downtown Charleston, with the holiday spirit filling the air. Decked out with one of the most beautiful Christmas trees you’ve ever seen, it was impossible not only to be in the Christmas spirit, but it was also impossible to not be able to feel the warmth and emotion of Allison and Ryan’s day. It was also impossible not to be taken aback by the old Hollywood glamor feel of it all. Take one look at Allison’s chic hair and makeup, and you’ll know exactly what I mean.
But perhaps my very favorite part of their day was their extremely touching first look. Both Allison and Ryan were overcome with emotion, breaking down in tears at the first sight of each other. It was so incredibly touching that I couldn’t help, but shed a tear myself. More of the highlights included their personal vows to each other and the two of them ending the night on the dance floor with just the two of them as the rest of the guests made their way out to the courtyard of the Mills House for a sparkler exit.
Allison and Ryan, I truly do believe that some things in life just work out the way they were supposed to. And I think me being your wedding photographer was just one of those things. I cannot imagine not being with you on this day, and it was one I will never forget. Talk about a way to close out the 2020 wedding season. You two are just fantastic, and I wish you everything good this life has to offer.
