MEGAN AND IAN | A SUNRISE PITT STREET BRIDGE ENGAGEMENT

Charleston sunrises and dolphin sightings… does it get much better than that? Sure it does if it also involves a completely in love couple who are just as nice as could possibly be. And that’s exactly how I would describe Megan and Ian, so this engagement session was not only just a beautiful low country morning at Pitt Street Bridge in Mount Pleasant, but also  just so much fun.

Megan and Ian met me a few weeks prior at Goat Sheep Cow to discuss their summer wedding at Hampton Park. To say I immediately felt comfortable with these two would be a complete understatement. They’re just some of the most down to earth and kindest people, so it made sitting with them over a glass of wine feel like I was chatting with old friends rather than two people I had just met that night. And that feeling continued on to their engagement session. These two had me laughing, and even showed off their best “Dancing with the Stars” moves without even trying. It’s simple really. They are just my type of people.
Megan and Ian, I can’t wait to capture some more of this ease and love at your wedding later this year. I’ll be counting down the days until then! You two are the best, and I’m so happy I’ll be the one behind the camera for you both!

Kelly and Steven are part of the 2021 #rideodyecouple family that waited longer than most to finally make it to their Charleston wedding. Having to postpone their wedding date not once, but twice due to CoVid wasn’t an easy decision, but it made their day at Cannon Green even sweeter when it finally arrived. When I walked into Kelly’s getting ready Airbnb, […]

As a Charleston wedding photographer,  I have to admit that I see a lot of really beautiful big gatherings, but lately there’s been a very special place in my heart for intimate elopements and gatherings.  And that’s exactly what Hannah and Matthew’s day was. A small gathering of just their nearest and dearest on the […]
