Jessica is one of those people that instantly make you feel like you want to be friends with her. I know this because when I first met her last spring it was because I was supposed to join the staff at her elementary school and she was the first person I met. I remember being so nervous, but within two seconds of meeting her that all faded away. So later when I decide to stay home with my son this year instead part of me was sad that I wouldnt get to hang out with her again. Little did I know shed get engaged a few weeks later and ask me to do her photos with Chris.
Funny enough I ended up running into them a lot sooner than I thought as we ran into each other at a local winery a few weeks before we were set to do their photos. Poor Chris stood in the rain as we chatted away, just one indication of his laid back personality. The day of their session we started at Clydes in Ashburn where they had the most beautiful weeping willows. We then drove over to the Willowsford Farm community and walked around talking about how they got engaged (at Bluemount Winery), how Chris designed her ring (he did amazing), and how Jess recently left Chris freezing by leaving the windows open when they went to bed on night (sounds like something I would do). We ended the session by snapping a few pictures in front of the super moon, which these pictures just dont do justice too.
Jess and Chris are fun, easy going, and friendly as anything. I cant wait until their big day next August, but until then, dont forget to shut the windows, Jess!
