JANE AND ANDREW | AN ELEGANT OUTDOOR LEGARE WARING HOUSE WEDDING

When you first lay eyes on Jane and Andrew you see two stunningly gorgeous people who look like they could have just walked out of a magazine. And it would be easy to only see their outward appearances, but honestly you would be missing out on two amazing people if you were to stop there. Because Jane and Andrew are so much more than that. They’re thoughtful, and caring, and kind, and most of all, they are two people are so genuinely and wholly head over heels in love.

The day of their Legare Waring House wedding came after a day in Charleston where the skies opened up and the wind blew at gale force speeds. But as if it sensed what a crazy special day Jane and Andrew’s wedding would be, Mother Nature did a 180 the morning of their wedding giving us one of the most gorgeous fall days Charleston has seen this season. Arriving to their wedding site this would have been enough to put me in a good mood, but then walking into the bridal suite elevated that mood through the roof. There was such a sense of calm, and peace, and Jane was ready to have the best day ever. And the best day it was.

Jane and Andrew were married under sea of Oak trees, and waiting at the end of the aisle was
one of the most gorgeous Chuppahs I’ve ever seen, dripping with white flowers. But much like themselves, the outwards appearance of their ceremony was just the beginning because it was about so much more than that. The vows honestly moved me to tears, as they did for a lot of their family and friends in attendance.  Later on their reception was filled with so many highlights including a choreographed dance between Jane and Andrew to “My Everything” by Leon Bridges and an extremely heartfelt speech from the bride and groom themselves. We ended the night taking a few last photos of the new Mr. and Mrs. Maze dancing under the stars together.
Jane and Andrew, from the second I got to your wedding I felt so completely welcomed by your families, and seeing you with them made it obvious why you two turned out to be such amazing people. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better day to have as one of my last to wrap up my 2019 weddings, and I feel so lucky to have been behind the camera for you two, but more than that to have known you! You two are the real deal, and I can’t wait to watch you grow together, even more in love.

Kelly and Steven are part of the 2021 #rideodyecouple family that waited longer than most to finally make it to their Charleston wedding. Having to postpone their wedding date not once, but twice due to CoVid wasn’t an easy decision, but it made their day at Cannon Green even sweeter when it finally arrived. When I walked into Kelly’s getting ready Airbnb, […]

As a Charleston wedding photographer,  I have to admit that I see a lot of really beautiful big gatherings, but lately there’s been a very special place in my heart for intimate elopements and gatherings.  And that’s exactly what Hannah and Matthew’s day was. A small gathering of just their nearest and dearest on the […]
