I first connected with Hailey through her mother, Elyzabeth, during what seemed like the endless winter months here in Virginia, so the thought of a spring portrait session was something to look forward to. About a week before our session Elyzabeth emailed to ask if we could change the location of our session to her family friend’s property in Leesburg, raving about its beauty. When I pulled up a few days later I could see why they thought it would be the perfect place to take photos. A sprawling property with a charming duck pond, an old blacksmith shop that has been turned into a separate office/loft, and the remains of an old siloh, which is one of the oldest standing foundations in Loudoun County, it was absolutely spectacular. Hailey was as well. Not only absolutely gorgeous on the outside, she is warm, intelligent, and engaging. We had so much fun finding new places on the property to take photos and ended the day with some sweet shots of her with her mom. Congratulations Hailey!I have no doubt you’re on to big things at the University of Virginia in the fall.
