WEDDING

A YEAR IN REVIEW: 2019 WEDDINGS OF THE #KDYECOUPLE FAMILY

There’s not much to say about 2019 bedsides that in this year, SO many of things I had been praying for came to fruition. The prayer that I could build my business to be a full time wedding photography business that provided for my family. The prayer that I could fill my calendar with amazing couples who didn’t just want a photographer at their wedding, but a friend. The prayer that I would get to photograph some of Charleston’s most beautiful venues. The prayer that I could build a community of other creatives around me who would support me and I could support in return. The prayer that I could show my boys that hard work pays off. The prayer that I would finally find something that I woke up every day getting to pinch myself that I am able to do. The prayer that I could build something that Tyler, my family and friends would tell me they’re proud of me for. And most of all, the prayer that I could make a difference in people’s lives through my images. To say I am thankful for this year is beyond and understatement.

But none of those prayers would have been answered if it wasn’t for each and every member of the #kdyecouple family. You chose to trust me to tell you stories, but what you didn’t know was just how much you were helping to write some of mine. I love each and every one of you, am beyond thankful for your endless support, and really do consider each of you my friends. Thank you, thank you, thank you, my dear, sweet, couples and friends.

And without further ado, here’s a look back on the year 2019 was in weddings….

This gorgeous Wild Dunes Resort wedding in  Charleston, SC for Megan and Ian truly was one of the most spectacular days, but the end result was completely different than what these two first had in mind for their wedding. When I met with Megan and Ian for a glass of wine over two years ago […]

Kelly and Steven are part of the 2021 #rideodyecouple family that waited longer than most to finally make it to their Charleston wedding. Having to postpone their wedding date not once, but twice due to CoVid wasn’t an easy decision, but it made their day at Cannon Green even sweeter when it finally arrived. When I walked into Kelly’s getting ready Airbnb, […]

As a Charleston wedding photographer,  I have to admit that I see a lot of really beautiful big gatherings, but lately there’s been a very special place in my heart for intimate elopements and gatherings.  And that’s exactly what Hannah and Matthew’s day was. A small gathering of just their nearest and dearest on the […]
