THE BERKOWITZ FAMILY | HAMPTON PARK IN DOWNTOWN CHARLESTON

Sweet baby Emmy is one of the cutest girls you will ever see. With bright blue eyes and a head of dark hair that curls sweetly at the ends, she is what toddler dreams are made of. Her personality is just as big as she will talk with you nonstop, loves dance parties to Taylor Swift’s new song “Look What You Made Me Do,” and has probably made her parents watch “Frozen” more times than they can count. So with her sweetness from her mom, her talkative personality from her dad, and her middle name Kate from yours truly (ok not really, but I like to think so), she is the perfect toddler crush for my little dude Hudson after we moved to Charleston earlier this year.

I met up with Ashleigh, Eric, and Emmy to take photos in celebration of her second birthday and the second the three of them stepped out of the car, I knew it was going to be a great session. Ashleigh is not only beautiful inside and out herself, but the dress she chose to wear had movement and fit her to a tee. Emmy of course was her adorable self, and Berky (as we lovingly refer to him) wasn’t so bad himself. With how great they looked it was a no brainer that I had to pull Ashleigh and Berky aside for a few photos of just them and bonus for Berky who gets the easiest Dad I have ever photographed award, as I think he secretly loved being in front of the camera… which if you know him shouldn’t surprise anyone. 😉

We spent the morning at Hampton Park in downtown Charleston and I can’t saw enough about how has stunning this park is. The more we walked around the more I found gorgeous backdrops and hidden gems within the park. Once again, Charleston for the win.

Sadly, Hurricane Irma decided to make an appearance here in Charleston this weekend and Ashleigh and Eric had to reschedule Emmy’s second birthday party. But you better believe in a few weeks I’ll be the first one willing to duet on some “Let it Go” with Emmy should that’s what her birthday girl self desires. Until then, enjoy these photos of your family of three Ashleigh, Eric and Emmy!
